COVID-19 DONATION UPDATE £10,000 LIFE-SAVING BOOST FOR CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

The COVID-19 pandemic has made us all review how we live our lives, run our businesses and made us appreciate the little things in life. For the most part of 2020 our NHS and care workers have been working long hours in extreme circumstances to keep the entire nation safe.

Back in May we pledged to show our gratitude by donating £1 from every order placed on charlesbentley.com and 5% of our profits to NHS charities.

With the support of our amazing customers, we successfully raised and donated a massive £10,000 to Leicester Children’s Hospital to provide life-saving patient monitoring devices to help support young people requiring intensive care.

Our Managing Director, Charles Bentley, and Finance Director, Sadie Pollard, were on hand to present a cheque for £10,000 to Leicester Hospitals Charity, Head of Philanthropy, Louise Jones.

We were determined to give something back to the community and it is tremendous to know that the donation will go towards helping children and young people across the East Midlands.

We’d like to thank everyone who has helped us reach such a fantastic total. Now more than ever, it is particularly important for this fantastic appeal to continue to receive donations in order to help realise the dream of a children’s hospital for Leicester.

We hope you’re all staying safe and looking after each other. During these extraordinary times, all we have is each other and by helping each other, we’ll continue to get through this.
